Encanto Vintage Swirl Cream and White Enameled Ice Bucket by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A swirl motif gives this Encanto ice bucket a rounded, sculptural surface in cream and white enamel. Its gold-tone details bring a warm contrast to the aluminum-alloy body, making the eight-inch form a decorative part of a drinks setting. Handwashing gently preserves the finish after use.
“A well-arranged bar is one where the next useful thing is easy to find. I would keep tongs and a small cloth near this bucket, giving its cream-and-white swirl enough room to remain part of the setting.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Encanto adds color to the cast-metal tradition: enamel and gold-tone details emphasize the curves and edges, making the form as much a part of the table as the food it holds.
