Equestrian Bit Shiny Gold Stainless Steel Serving Spoon by Vagabond House
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A bright gold finish emphasizes the looped Bit handle of this 18/10 stainless steel serving spoon. Its broad bowl and eleven-inch length suit shared serving dishes, with the equestrian motif carried through the long, open handle.
“I choose the serving spoon to suit the dish, checking that the handle reaches comfortably beyond its rim. This open bit is a detail worth keeping clear of the food.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
For gentle everyday care, hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, rinse and dry promptly. Remove food residue before it dries onto the surface. Avoid abrasive pads, chlorine bleach and prolonged soaking, and keep pieces from rubbing against other utensils in storage. Dry gold-finished pieces carefully to preserve their surface.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
