French Swirl Blue Glass Champagne Flutes by Beatriz Ball - Set of 4

Blue glass and a spiral optic pattern give these French Swirl champagne flutes a lively play of light. A narrow bowl rises above a shaped stem, creating a nine-inch silhouette that feels distinctly celebratory without additional ornament. Four matching flutes make a useful starting point for a drinks service, with other French Swirl shapes available separately.

“Blue glass is a lovely way to bring color to a toast without another patterned layer. I would keep the flowers low and let the light reach these spiral bowls, rather than crowd them into a dense arrangement.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.

French Swirl brings the same affection for a lively table to handcrafted glass. Twisting forms and clear stems let light, color and the drink itself become part of the setting.
