Garden Party Pinwheel Raffia Placemat by Payton James
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Garden Party Pinwheel placemat is woven with a lively circular motif that lends movement to the individual place setting. Its natural raffia fibers keep the pattern grounded in familiar materials, with small variations that belong to handmade work.
The gently patterned surface is especially attractive with plain porcelain and linen, where the design can add interest without competing with other textiles. Available as one placemat or several set quantities, it can be used to build a table gradually and thoughtfully.
“A family table can feel festive without becoming formal. I admire the lively rhythm of a pinwheel against white china and freshly washed linen. When a woven place setting already has this much character, I find a little greenery and a few flowers are quite enough.”
