Pearl David Hand-Polished Metal Square Serving Tray by Beatriz Ball - Medium
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A square-bodied serving surface and integrated side handles give the medium Pearl David tray its useful shape. Rounded, pearl-like details trace the hand-polished aluminum alloy, bringing a silver-colored finish to small servings or an orderly arrangement on a side table. The handles extend beyond the serving area, making them a practical part of the outline.
“I like a compact tray with handles that remain easy to reach. A small serving of appetizers or a few well-chosen objects can look settled here, with a little open metal left around them.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry. Oven-safe to 350°F for warming food; use oven mitts, as metal becomes hot. Never use in a microwave.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
