Pearl David Polished Metal Serving Tray by Beatriz Ball - Large
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The large Pearl David tray balances a broad rectangular surface with a closely spaced pearl-like border. Its hand-polished aluminum alloy offers a silver-colored serving piece without the routine upkeep of silver. At 20.25 by 12 inches, it has room for a substantial arrangement of food or a considered group on a sideboard.
“This is a tray I would choose for real serving work. A clear margin between the food and the pearl edge makes each portion easier to lift, while keeping the decorative border part of the pleasure.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry. Oven-safe to 350°F for warming food; use oven mitts, as metal becomes hot. Never use in a microwave.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
