Vintage Fluted Polished Metal Ice Bucket by Beatriz Ball
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Vertical fluting gives this Vintage ice bucket a defined surface in reflective aluminum alloy. Its eight-inch width and 6.5-inch height make a useful place for ice on a drinks table, kitchen island or small bar. The sand-cast metal form carries its decoration through the shape itself, without an applied pattern or colored finish.
“I put the ice where it is easy to reach, with a proper scoop or tongs beside it. A suitable mat beneath this bucket and a small resting place for the tools keep the drinks setting comfortable to use.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Handwash with gentle detergent and a soft sponge, then towel-dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do not leave in standing water or use for prolonged food storage. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and cutting directly on the surface. No routine silver polishing is needed; store clean and dry. Empty after use and dry the interior thoroughly before putting away.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
