Charles Dickens Book Set

Step back in time with our Charles Dickens Set including five of the author’s most iconic works. The books are wrapped in jackets featuring the painting Westminster by George Hyde Pownall, transporting readers back to foggy 19th-century London.

On the front and back covers of each jacket are reproductions of the original Charles Dickens first edition covers. When Dickens published these books, they were not complete books. Instead, he released them in softcover serialized “parts” - three chapters at a time - maximizing the anticipation and profitability for each story. 

As with all of our designs, we thought about how best to capture the story of the author, the characters, settings, and emotions inside of the books… and present them on the outside. These books have been classics for over 150 years for good reason, and we hope that our classic design finds a cherished place on your bookshelves for many years to come. 

The five books in the set are heirloom-quality editions published by Everyman’s Library. Each book comes complete with silk reading ribbons, acid-free, natural cream-colored paper, and European-style half-round spines.
